On Monday I started out the week by going down to the Plaza to particpate in an event with our local Star Wars club, The Heart of the Alliance FanForce. We were celebrating the R2-D2 Mailboxes that have been showing up across the country in preparation for the USPS to release a new Star Wars Stamp. I showed up in costume and Tess Koppelman from Fox 4 news was there, and we ended up on the local news for several days afterwards.
I spent most of that evening afterwards updating one of my other sites, http://www.StarWarsKC.com to add the video from that event. A few days later, another fan group the 70th Explorers part of the Fighting 501st was on a Channel 9 newscast and I added that to the site as well.
As a previous post stated, I did a few updates to this site last night. I thought it wouldn't take me more than an hour or so. Well 5 hours later I finally finished. I was redoing some of the links on the music page and none of my updates were taking. Without getting into specifics, there are two files for every streaming song I have on my site. And like an idiot I kept uploading the one I wasn't updating. I spent a frustrating several hours just trying to figure out what was causing the problem.
